About Us | Boll & Branch
There is a better way to make bedding.
Since 2014, this has been the driving idea behind all of our decision making at Boll & Branch. Missy and I questioned every conventional standard in the textile industry, and built the business in a brand new way, starting by directly sourcing—never outsourcing—the highest-quality raw materials we could find. We established a better end-to-end system, ensuring only adults make our products, and that they benefit along with us.
Missy brought her relentless obsession with details to our process, finding the most exacting way to weave, cut and sew each of our fabrics, and unearthing more thoughtful methods for perfecting our products. Her dedication to the customer experience and creating the softest organic bedding possible set us apart from day one. Today, this vision drives us forward: to lead with innovations that enhance everyone’s quality of life.
Our difference makes a difference—so we can all sleep better at night.

OUR PROCESS
Every choice matters. This belief requires us to unravel and examine each detail of what we make and how we make it. In turn, these decisions give each product its deepest value. It starts with making our fabrics from scratch, managing our supply chain from the source, and never compromising our standards.
SEE OUR PROCESSSUSTAINABILITY
From day one, we have committed to harvesting 100% organic cotton. It makes a better life for the people who grow it, and it makes a better product for the people who use it. By using sustainable raw materials, we are able to guarantee a softer, more luxurious product. We make the bedding we want to use ourselves—safer, softer, longer-lasting—and we spare no detail in perfecting every layer.
SEE THE DIFFERENCEOUR RESPONSIBILITY
There’s a perpetual cycle of poverty that those before us in the category drove for generations, consistently marginalizing farmers and workers. With the guidance, counsel, and support from Fair Trade USA, we built a business model that we knew would lift people up in a way that had never been done before in this category. We were the first home goods brand to partner with Fair Trade, and to exceed $1.5 million in Premiums for the women and men who make our exceptional products.
OUR PHILANTHROPY
Since our beginning, we have prioritized investing in our communities in formal and informal ways; In 2014, we differentiated ourselves in the industry with our commitment to Fair Trade USA, paying premiums that go directly to supporting our farmers and artisans. In 2020, we founded Helping From Home, an initiative that delivers the feeling of safety that home should provide. Our initiatives continue to grow and today, with the support of our employees and our customers, we work towards making 50,000 homes feel safer every year.
